This site is a place for me to share my thoughts and opinions about the sport, the fighters and the events, as well as a place to share links to interesting articles and videos that I find, regarding MMA. I will rarely talk specifically about fight predictions or outcomes – there are plenty of other sites out there to get that info.

I will watch and thoroughly enjoy ANY MMA fight, and have a tremendous amount of respect for what Dana White (UFC) has done for the sport. My favorite weight classes are Flyweight through Lightweight, because IMHO … that is where the action is. *POW!* But I have grown to love many of the upper weight class fighters as well.

Live events are, by far, the BEST way to enjoy this sport. You get the opportunity to meet the fighters and make new friends. Also, there is nothing quite as awesome as seeing the fights (ALL the fights – to include the un-aired pre-lim’s) and hearing the sounds of combat without the overlay of the commentators.

Currently, I am a national real estate technology trainer and help my husband run one of the top real estate teams in Colorado Springs.  I also have an undying love for and of photography.

My husband, Derek, and I have been happily married since 1995 and we are the proud parents to 2 great boys – one a teen and one in elementary school. We are all die-hard MMA fans.

Funny story: I went to some business-related pre-Super Bowl event last February 5th and won a 52″ TV. I was excited, as it would be a great addition to the 58″ TV we just bought to watch the fights. When the people at the event made a comment assuming I was excited about watching the Super Bowl on it, I corrected them to tell them that the TV was for UFC 109 – not some pansy football game. … Didn’t make a lot of friends that night.

My goal is to get my real estate team to the point where I can run it pretty much hands-off so that Derek and I can travel more and watch more MMA events, live.
