Farewell to an Era. Hello to an Exponentially More Talented UFC | UFC WEC Merge

If you are awake today, then you already know this. But I needed to post this because it is more important to me than the car accident I was in earlier this morning.

The UFC and WEC are merging as of January 2011.

What are the implications of this merger? How will the weight classes become cohesive? Will the WEC fighters get more, or less exposure?  Will the pay for WEC fighters improve?

… and most importantly, will this merge give Brittney Palmer the opportunity to pose for Playboy, too?

I am just excited that I get to attend a (now) landmark event – WEC 53 – the LAST WEC event, ever.
